Telstra’s recently acquired video conferencing and collaboration company, iVision, has just become the first Australian company to receive the Cisco TelePresence Video Master status enabling it to offer extensive unified communications expertise across the full Cisco range of products.
The Cisco TelePresence Video Master Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) Program is focused on providing a new way of working in which companies can be more productive through face-to-face collaboration with TelePresence video solutions.
The aim of the program is to help partners offer the entire TelePresence experience through infrastructure solutions and architecture capabilities in addition to managed services and intercompany integrations.
iVision Managing Director Graham Williams said he was pleased to receive the new status. “Now that we have the highest Cisco certification level, our skills and expertise will be even more valuable to Telstra’s customers in the rapidly growing market of video conferencing and collaboration,” he said.
Telstra announced it had purchased iVision in early April because it will boost Telstra’s capability and expertise across multiple video conferencing products and platforms, enabling Telstra to rapidly design and rollout video conferencing solutions for its customers. (more…)
